The IDLV-2000AL is an intelligent DVB ASI TS Master-Slave redundancy and backup system. It is equipped with up to six independent switching blocks, each with two ASI input ports – master and slave – and two ASI output ports (mirrored output). Each switching block is able to monitor in real time the TS Sync byte and up to eight user-specified PIDs carried in the master TS simultaneously. Under normal conditions, the output stream is the master TS itself. As soon as errors are detected during monitoring, the switching module will toggle to the Slave TS in milliseconds. Its fast switching and high reliability make the IDLV-2000AL a perfect broadcast redundancy system.
