IDLB-QUDL42-UNI1L-1PP

A member of the innovative and award winning Unicable LNB series this highly competitive product enables the connection of up to 4 STBs using a single cable (providing STBs are Unicable compliant) over its Unicable port as well as one more STB over its “Legacy” port. The product is supplied with one splitter unit (optional) for a flexible distribution of the satellite signal at home. It was specifically designed for the European DTH markets, and provides optimized reception capabilities for High Definition transmissions. Manufactured to the highest industry quality standards and with excellent noise figure and phase noise performance, this LNB is an ideal solution for multi-room satellite reception and is a product of choice for most leading digital satellite TV operators across Europe.

What is a feedhorn?

The feedhorn is the part of a satellite dish system which gathers the reflected signal from the dish and focuses it towards the LNB.

What is an LNB?

An LNB - Low Noise Block (also called an LNC- Low Noise Converter), is used for communications (broadcast) satellite reception. The LNB is usually affixed either in or on the satellite dish.

What is an LNBF?

An LNBF is an LNB with an integrated feedhorn

What is a Monoblock LNB?

This design consists of two independent LNBs in a single case. The two LNBs can be automatically addressed with any DiSEqC 1.0 or higher receiver. In some cases they can also be addressed with ToneBurst / MiniDiSEqC. However, they are only available for satellites with a fixed 3 degree, 4.3 degree, 6 degree …spacing. In Europe, for example, there are monoblock single, twin and quad LNBs for the Ku band, which have a pre-defined spacing of 6 degrees (for Astra 1 / Hotbird , for example).

Why can I receive only one satellite with my Monoblock?

Monoblock LNBs are designed for a specific dish size, 80cm for example. If your dish is too small (70cm for example) or too wide (90cm for example) it is not possible to receive both satellites together. Please choose the dish size for which the monoblock LNB has been designed.
